Moscow crt registers Sistema’s 330.4 bln rbl case against Rosneft
MOSCOW, Dec 12 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Arbitration Court has registered a 330.449 billion ruble suit against Russian oil major Rosneft and its subsidiary oil company Bashneft by multi-industry holding Sistema, according to court information seen by PRIME on Tuesday.
The suit arrived to the court on Monday, the proceedings have not started. The matter of the suit was not disclosed.
Sistema said in a statement on December 8 that it planned to sue Rosneft and Bashneft for unjustly enrichment in 2017 during litigations with Sistema. The holding said it is ready for amicable settlement of the conflict.
In August, the Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan partially satisfied a 170.6 billion ruble suit filed by Rosneft, Bashneft and the republic of Bashkortostan, where Bashneft is located, to charge Sistema and its affiliate Sistema-Invest for the losses allegedly caused to Bashneft in 2014 during its reorganization. In 2014, Sistema was the core owner of Bashneft.
In June, the Arbitration Court of the republic of Bashkortostan issued an order to seize what it assessed as 185 billion rubles worth of assets of Sistema, including a 31.76% stake in mobile operator MTS, 100% in healthcare company Medsi, and 90.5% in Bashkir Power Grid Company, under the case with Rosneft and its unit Bashneft.
Sistema said that it failed to receive 9.9 billion rubles of dividends from its key asset, mobile operator MTS, due to the ban imposed by a bailiff.
